Andreas Angelides Ltd was founded in 1944 by Mr Andreas Angelides, the current Chairman of the company. The Chairman’s vision was: “ to supply the consumer with High quality wooden furniture and best service possible” . The operations of the firm were based both in Retailing as well as Manufacturing and in 1972 the company had created one of the biggest furniture manufacturing plants just outside Nicosia . Despite the huge catastrophy of 1974, the company strived to continue its mission and both its retailing and manufacturing operations moved to the Engomi Industrial Area, where the current showroom is situated today. At the same time the firm started importing more furniture from Italy and other European countries like Denmark as a means of offering innovative, elegant and good quality household furniture to the Cypriot consumer. It was the first company at that time which imported furniture in Cyprus. In 1989 a new factory was built in the Ergates Industrial Area and thus all the manufacturing operations had moved to this new plant. The company succeeded in exporting its products to major European markets such as Paris and London. Today, due to the rapidly changing business environment in Cyprus, the company’s imports increased drastically. We can give the best service possible and satisfy all needs and preferences. In the year of 2003, the company has undergone a major renovation of its showroom premises so as to offer the Cypriot consumer the best shopping environment. With an exhibiting space of 4,500m2 in three floors, Andreas Angelides Ltd is probably the largest furniture showroom in Cyprus offering all range of household furniture from modern to classic style and their equivalent accessories.
