<div style="background-color:white;border-bottom:solid windowtext 1.0pt;border:none;padding:0cm 0cm 1.0pt 0cm;">THE COMPANY</div>On behalf of our client, a leading management company licensed and regulated by CySEC, managing mutual funds and providing MiFID services for investment portfolios on a discretionary and advisory basis, we seek to recruit a self-motivated and a high calibre professional for the position of&nbsp;Junior Financial Accountant, to be based in Nicosia.<div style="background-color:white;border-bottom:solid windowtext 1.0pt;border:none;padding:0cm 0cm 1.0pt 0cm;">THE POSITION</div>The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Accounting Department of the Company and will be supporting the Company’s accounting operations. More specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the below duties, among others:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;"><li>Perform book-keeping activities and maintain accounting records for a number of companies and funds under management</li><li>Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner</li><li>Maintain a structured filing system for corporate documents and ensure the accurate completion of all required supporting documentation</li><li>Conduct regular bank reconciliations</li><li>Conduct regular creditors reconciliations</li><li>Assist in the monthly payroll calculations</li><li>Monitor, on a daily basis, the recognition and receipt of revenue for all funds under management</li><li>Monitor all transactions of all funds under management&nbsp;</li><li>Upload transactions in portfolio management software for all funds under management and clients’ accounts</li><li>Calculate the Net Asset Value (NAV) of the funds under management using portfolio management software</li><li>Assist in the issuance of financial information and act as the liaison between the company and local auditors</li><li>Assist in the preparation of all tax returns/forms</li><li>Assist in the preparation of the company’s budget and financial forecasts</li><li><a name="OLE_LINK3">Prepare bank payments for submission of fax instructions</a></li><li>Ensure thar accurate and timely execution of the invoicing and cash collection process</li><li>Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations</li><li>Perform any other accounting duties as assigned by the Supervisory and Senior Management Team</li></ul>&nbsp;<div style="background-color:white;border-bottom:solid windowtext 1.0pt;border:none;padding:0cm 0cm 1.0pt 0cm;">&nbsp;REQUIREMENTS</div><ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;"><li>Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in Accounting/Economics or related field</li><li>Holder of LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting</li><li>Between one (1) to three (3) years of proven experience in a similar position</li><li>Understanding / experience of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)&nbsp;</li><li>Analytical thinking and attention to detail</li><li>Organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple tasks</li><li>Experience with financial statements preparation will be considered an advantage</li><li>Excellent knowledge of English and Greek languages, both verbal and written&nbsp;</li><li>Computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages) with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>Knowledge of an accounting software will be considered an advantage</li></ul><div style="background-color:white;border-bottom:solid windowtext 1.0pt;border:none;padding:0cm 0cm 1.0pt 0cm;">&nbsp;REMUNERATION</div>A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;<div style="background-color:white;border-bottom:solid windowtext 1.0pt;border:none;padding:0cm 0cm 1.0pt 0cm;">APPLICATIONS</div>All applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
