The Client:Our client, OneVault, which has recently received its EMI licence from the Central Bank of Cyprus is looking to recruit a Financial Controller for its offices in Nicosia.OneVault is member of Finvasia Gorup which is a global enterprise with headquarters in Chandigarh, India, &nbsp;offering services in 4 sectors of expertise – financial services, healthcare, blockchain and real estate.&nbsp;The Position:The Financial Controller will be responsible for bookkeeping, accounts payable, maintaining the general ledger in the banking system, customer deposit &amp; bank reconciliation, payroll, financial reporting to management&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage all accounting &amp; bookkeeping operations.</li><li>Processing and monitoring cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations.</li><li>Preparing month-end reports for management and financial reporting and analysis to guide decision-making.</li><li>Assisting in creating the budget, including incorporating historical data.</li><li>Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.</li><li>Handling payroll processing and labor tax compliance.</li><li>Coordinating with external financial, compliance and tax auditors.</li><li>Assisting consultants in the preparation of regulatory reporting</li><li>Setting and managing bank accounts &amp; relationships to safeguard customer funds and optimize investment.</li><li>Support month-end and year-end close process</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>BSc/BA in accounting or finance;</li><li>3+ years of experience as a finance officer and 2+ years in a senior finance role</li><li>Able to work on own initiative, independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details.</li><li>Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams/executives.</li><li>Masters’ degree in accounting or finance or Accounting Qualifications (ACCA / ICAEW) are considered a plus.</li></ul>&nbsp;Location:Client’s Offices in Nicosia, Cyprus Benefits: An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;TO APPLY CLICK <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://app.ismartrecruit.com/jobDescription?x=E7pcmVkaHJzb2x1dGlvbnMubmV0Xzc1OF9QUk9NT1RFVVJMX2VuQ9e">HERE</a>Apply now in strict confidence.Only successful candidates will be contacted
