C. Pilyugin &amp; Co LLC is a multi-disciplinary law firm which provides legal, tax, corporate and accounting services. The firm is based in the centre of Limassol, Cyprus and is looking for an experienced accountant to join our accounting department as the head of accounting and help deliver our client expectations.&nbsp;&nbsp;www.cplawyers.com&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsibilities:&nbsp;The successful candidate will be responsible for:&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Overseeing and assigning tasks to the members of the accounting department of the company;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Ensuring the work of the accounting department is organised and in good order;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Review and approval of quotes for accounting services and audit;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Reviewing the work of members of the accounting department and ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with professional standards and in an timely manner;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Reviewing the bookkeeping and entries done by team members to ensure that files are properly prepared for audit;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Review and approval of VAT, VIES returns;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Review and approval of invoices;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Preparation and review of budget and forecasting where required.</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Review and approval of payroll of clientele;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Assistance with consultations in the area of accounting practice, tax planning and similar;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Review and approval of financial statements and management accounts;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Preparation of financial statements and management accounts where required;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Preparation of monthly payroll for clientele where required;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Preparation of the company files for audit;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Assistance with queries of clients and team members for accounting and tax compliance matters;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Handling specific clients queries;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Attending client meetings and contacting clients;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Providing training and guidance to team members;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Keeping up to date and remaining well informed with latest developments in the field of taxation and accounting practices;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Liaising with the auditors for the audit of companies, the government authorities and any agent for any tasks;</li><li style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Attending to any other tasks related to the role.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications:&nbsp;•&nbsp;Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Economics or similar;•&nbsp;At least 5 years of experience in accounting position;•&nbsp;Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook;•&nbsp;Knowledge of accounting software: E-soft, CaseWare or similar.&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;The candidate should meet the following requirements:&nbsp;•&nbsp;Fluent in Greek and English language, written and spoken - fluency in Russian language will be considered as an advantage;•&nbsp;Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills;•&nbsp;Office management and time management skills;•Be based in Limassol;•&nbsp;Ability to work as part of a team;•&nbsp;Ability to work under pressure for meeting deadlines;•&nbsp;Being resilient and efficient;• Be precise and analytical;•&nbsp;Being professional and trustworthy.&nbsp;Benefits:&nbsp;•Become a member of a great team;•Gain experience working in a law firm;•&nbsp;Attractive salary depending on experience;• Career Prospects;•&nbsp;Annual salary reviews;•&nbsp;13th salary;•Parking included•&nbsp;Option to work remotely 1 day a week.&nbsp;How to apply:Please apply online and/or send a detailed CV to our Partner - christine.p@cplawyers.comAll applicants will be treated in strict confidentiality.&nbsp;&nbsp;
