Decathlon has a reputation for offering high-quality products at affordable prices, and the Company is proud to represent the brand in Cyprus.<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Role in Brief <div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join our growing team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will provide administrative support to the Senior Accountant and the Senior HR of the Company, as well as supporting the smooth operation of the office. <div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>We are looking for applicants which have proven experience in a similar role, ideally have worked as an Accounting Assistant and/or Office Administrator.<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Responsibilities<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Accounting Duties:<ul> <li>Perform basic accounting task</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of financial reports.</li> <li>Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.</li> <li>Conduct VAT calculations and submissions.</li> <li>Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.</li> </ul></li> <li>Office Administration:<ul> <li>Manage daily office operations to ensure a smooth workflow.</li> <li>Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls professionally.</li> <li>Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.</li> </ul></li> <li>Technical Skills:<ul> <li>Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.</li> <li>Manage data entry and records in ERP systems such as Odoo, E-soft, Sage, Cycom Sofia, or any other ERP.</li> <li>Generate and analyse reports from the ERP system.</li></ul></li></ul><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Who you are? <div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>An accounting qualification such as LCCI Higher or a University Degree in Accounting or Office Administration Degree is mandatory.</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or office administration.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks quickly.</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office application and general computer literacy. </li> <li>Basic knowledge of VAT</li> <li>Personal Attributes:<ul> <li>Strong work ethic and professional behaviour.</li> <li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Team player with a positive attitude.</li></ul></li></ul><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>Our Benefits <div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Competitive compensation package </li> <li>Working Hours Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00 with 1 hour break </li> <li>21 days annual leave </li> <li>Career development opportunities </li> <li>Employee discount on all our brands</li> <li>Work in a multi-cultural work environment </li> </ul><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>If you are interested, please send your cv at <a href="mailto:info@getogroupcy.com">info@getogroupcy.com</a> <div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>with title: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div>G.T.
