RESPONSIBILITIES:Internal Control:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop strategic plans to implement compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee the preparation and execution of compliance action plans and targets for memberso&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with department heads to design, implement and enforce internal control policies and regulations that comprehensively cover all departments.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Contribute to the induction of staff members on risk management, the control framework and internal controlo&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage team recruitment in accordance with established criteriao&nbsp;&nbsp; Train team members to ensure compliance targets are meto&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide regular report on compliance activities in the agreed format&nbsp;Risk Management:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify, assess, and document risks, recommending appropriate actions to mitigate them effectively.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Continuously update risk assessments and track progress on risk management strategies.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct periodic internal reviews to identify and address compliance concerns.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop and implement risk management strategies and action plans.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor adherence to key controls across all business functions, including program, finance, grant management, human resources, IT, partnerships, operations, and in any other area of business as relevant.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Regularly communicate regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with established guidelines.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Review corporate KYC forms for accuracy and consistency in partners’ profiles.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct KYC/CDD on partners and other third parties the business relationship.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Screen partners and other third parties against sanctions lists and other relevant database&nbsp;Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp;E):o&nbsp;&nbsp; Establish KPIs to monitor compliance effectiveness.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Verify oversight mechanism &nbsp;and monitor toolso&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop remedial plans when compliance issue arises once needed.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain thorough documentation of compliance activities.&nbsp;REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; BSc/BA in Law, Finance, Business Administration or related field.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proven experience of a minimum of 7 years as compliance manager.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong understanding of reporting procedures and record -keeping.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and resolve compliance issues.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Certified compliance professional is a plus.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations is a plus.&nbsp;&nbsp;
