On behalf of MAP S.Platis, the&nbsp;largest financial services consultancy Group in&nbsp;our region, we are seeking to recruit an&nbsp;Accountant/Bookkeeper&nbsp;for its Accounting department in Nicosia.&nbsp;This Role in a Nutshell&nbsp;The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Accounting, prepare and process accounting entries, issue invoices and receipts to clients, conduct monthly reconciliations and prepare VAT returns.&nbsp;What Does Your Role Specifically Involve?<ul><li>Preparing and processing accounting entries to the accounting system according to group’s accounting procedure</li><li>Preparing and processing invoices to customers.</li><li>Following up with debtors and monitoring collections.</li><li>Preparing payment instructions, and active communication with suppliers.</li><li>Preparing cash receipts and bank deposits.</li><li>Preparing and processing VAT returns.</li><li>Conducting monthly reconciliations of Group’s banks and visa cards accounts.</li><li>Conducting monthly reconciliations of accounts payable, receivable and intercompany balances.</li><li>Documenting and filing accounting transactions in an organized manner; Properly maintaining the accounting filing system.</li><li>Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management.</li></ul>Here Are Our Basic Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting &amp; Finance, Economics or in any other related discipline will be considered an advantage</li><li>At least 3 years of relevant work experience</li><li>LCCI Level 3, AAT, CAT, or other equivalent qualification</li><li>Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles</li><li>Organizational and time management skills</li><li>Multitasking individual with the ability to prioritize tasks</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both verbal and written</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Knowledge and previous use of the SAP software will be considered an advantage.</li></ul>What’s In It for You?&nbsp;By joining the dynamic MAP S.Platis team, the successful candidate will have unique profile building and career growth opportunities in a fast growing sector, working alongside highly experienced specialists and consultants, dealing with a reputable global clientele and obtaining valuable first-hand/practical experience among other in compliance and AML compliance matters of regulated entities.You will be offered a competitive remuneration package, including a discretionary performance-related bonus based on qualifications and experience, provident fund upon successful completion of the probation period, flexible working hours, one afternoon off and working from home, in-house and external training courses, flexibility in dress code as per occasion, and other perks such as teambuilding activities, corporate events, personal and career development opportunities, and more.&nbsp;How Can You Apply?&nbsp;Your application will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
