The role could be based in Limassol&nbsp;or&nbsp;Nicosia.BenefitsWorking Hours &amp; Conditions:<ul><li>Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (½-hour break)</li><li>Location: Fully on-site (remote work only in emergencies with prior approval)</li><li>Leave: 21 days annual leave + 4 hours/month for emergency use (not deducted)</li><li>Overtime: Not required by policy; if approved by management, it is paid</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Salary: 13th salary included</li><li>Bonuses: Annual bonus or quarterly commission based on company targets</li><li>Retirement: Provident fund to be implemented soon</li><li>Professional Growth: Opportunities for development in a global maritime setting</li></ul>Job Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Ensure proper implementation of LGL policies, procedures and system</li><li>Continuously focus on the corporate goals, results of “100% customer satisfaction’</li><li>Participate in acquiring new business deals for DBS Levant</li><li>&nbsp;Communicate specific cargo details to concerned parties to decide on appropriate transportation method</li><li>Liaise with third parties to move goods (by road, air or sea) according to customers’ requirements</li><li>&nbsp;Monitor Progress versus Plan</li><li>Handling all inquiries received from customers and deliver best rates and service</li><li>Negotiate better airfreight / sea freight / land freight rates with principals, shipping lines, airlines and other service providers</li><li>&nbsp;Conduct bi-weekly and monthly meetings with the department manager</li><li>&nbsp;Follow up with the sales team to ensure client satisfaction</li><li>&nbsp;Maintain good business relations by ensuring having relations with key accounts</li><li>Monitor Key accounts</li><li>&nbsp;Handle operation claims in coordination with the department manager</li><li>Ensure timely closing of jobs and reporting to the accounting department.</li><li>Build a good relationship with Carriers (air and sea) in coordination with the Department Manager</li><li>&nbsp;Monitor rules, regulations, and procedures</li><li>&nbsp;Conduct field visits (when necessary) with sales team to ensure customer’s support and satisfaction</li><li>&nbsp;Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislations, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight</li><li>Assist clients in the event of a claim</li><li>Handle minor problems related to transportation of cargo and report major issues to operations manager</li><li>&nbsp;Participate in consolidation of information and preparation of reports as requested by department manager</li></ul>&nbsp;The dynamic business environment might bring changes in job nature induced by new technology, new business lines, new regulations.
