Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Network Engineer for our offices in Nicosia, Cyprus. The Network Engineer will be responsible to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments.Strong technical expertise in networking technologies, security appliances, and cloud integration, combined with problem-solving skills and effective communication, are essential for success in this role.&nbsp;Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, and cloud networking solutions).</li><li>Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.</li><li>Configuring and maintaining routers, switches, load balancers, and other networking hardware/ software.</li><li>Administering firewalls, IDS/ IPS systems, and security appliances to safeguard against threats.</li><li>Supporting integration of on-premise and cloud-based environments.</li><li>Developing and maintaining network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.</li><li>Providing technical support for escalated network incidents and performing root cause analysis.</li><li>Collaborating with IT Teams, vendors, and service providers for new implementations and upgrades.</li><li>Conducting routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades to network systems.</li><li>Evaluating new networking technologies and recommending solutions to improve performance and security.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer/ electrical engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>2+ years of proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar role.</li><li>Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies (HPE, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco, Sophos etc.).</li><li>Experience managing both on-premises and cloud network infrastructures.</li><li>HPE, Cisco, Palo Alto, CheckPoint certifications (desirable but not mandatory).</li><li>CompTIA Network+ or Security+.</li><li>Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls.</li><li>Experience with VPNs, load balancers, and wireless technologies.</li><li>Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li></ul>RemunerationAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;Equal Employment OpportunityLogicom is committed to provide equal employment opportunities for all regardless of their race, color, sex/gender, religion, age, marital status, cultural background, disability, nationality and political opinion.
