We are currently looking for a Head Chef who performs excellent&nbsp;in a busy atmosphere, can handle the pressure of a thriving kitchen, and has stamina, creativity and attention-to-detail.Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities.</li><li>Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.</li><li>Approve and add the final touch for dishes before they reach the customer.</li><li>Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels.</li><li>Plan orders for equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages.</li><li>Arrange for repairs when necessary.</li><li>Remedy any problems or defects.</li><li>Be fully in charge of&nbsp;hiring, managing and training kitchen staff.</li><li>Oversee the work of subordinates.</li><li>Maintain records of payroll and personnel attendance.</li><li>Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.</li><li>Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.</li><li>Ultimately responsible for ensuring that kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as Head Chef.</li><li>Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management.</li><li>Team management skills.</li><li>Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.</li><li>Outstanding communication and leadership skills.</li><li>High level of attention to detail.</li><li>Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.</li><li>Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, Restaurant Management Software, POS).</li><li>Good&nbsp;level of numeric skills.</li><li>Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you.</li><li>Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.</li><li>Credentials in health and safety training.</li><li>Degree in Culinary science or related certificate.</li><li>Cyprus resident with all legal documents.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:The company offers a competitive remuneration package to the successful candidate, in accordance to qualifications and experience.Applications:Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae to <a href="mailto:gm@sveltosgroup.com">gm@sveltosgroup.com</a>&nbsp;All applications will be treated in the strictest confidentiality and only eligible candidates will be contacted.
