We are currently looking for a Sous Chef who performs excellent&nbsp;in a busy atmosphere, can handle the pressure of a thriving kitchen, and has stamina, creativity and attention-to-detail.&nbsp;&nbsp;Duties &amp; Responsibilities:As a Sous Chef you will report directly to the Head Chef and the role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:<ul><li>Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks.</li><li>Cooking and preparing high quality dishes.</li><li>Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes.</li><li>Supervising all kitchen stations.</li><li>Supervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels.</li><li>Being responsible for health and safety.</li><li>Being responsible for food hygiene practices.</li><li>Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created.</li><li>Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.</li><li>Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum proven experience in the same position.</li><li>Culinary degree is considered a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Good knowledge of all kitchen sections and equipment.</li><li>Ability to produce good quality food.</li><li>Good oral communication.</li><li>Team management skills.</li><li>High level of attention to detail.</li><li>Good level of numeracy.</li><li>Good level of computer skills (MS Office).</li><li>Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you</li><li>Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.</li><li>Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work.</li><li>Positive and approachable manner.</li><li>Team player qualities.</li><li>Good knowledge of HACCP guidelines.</li><li>Cyprus resident with all legal documents.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:The company offers a competitive remuneration package to the successful candidate, in accordance to qualifications and experience.Applications:Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae to&nbsp;gm@sveltosgroup.comAll applications will be treated in the strictest confidentiality and only eligible candidates will be contacted.&nbsp;
