You will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital assets, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in our security posture.&nbsp;DEADLINE: 19/10/2025&nbsp;KEY BENEFITS<ul><li>Gross Annual Salary up to €40.000 (depending on qualifications &amp; experience)</li><li>Medical insurance.</li><li>Provident fund (current contribution 9%).</li><li>Life insurance.</li><li>Ongoing opportunities for personal and professional development.&nbsp;</li></ul>READY TO APPLY?Create your account on our recruitment platform and take the first step toward your next adventure!Sign in or Create an account in our '<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://career55.sapsf.eu/career?career_company=bankofcypr&amp;lang=en_GB&amp;company=bankofcypr&amp;site=&amp;loginFlowRequired=true&amp;_s.crb=pdp5nWWqyzZuxqXbNZ5mMr2GiYnxbisROLzpXZKQp1c%3d">e-recruitment System</a>' and complete your profile&nbsp;From the ‘Candidate Profile’ section, click on the following:<ul><li>BoC Logo or link</li><li>Job Search</li><li>Search Jobs</li><li>Click on &gt; Cybersecurity Engineer</li><li>Apply</li><li>Make sure you hit on Apply button again.</li></ul>&nbsp;KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Design, implement, and manage robust security infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments.</li><li>Deploy and maintain security solutions including cloud access security broker, endpoint detection and response, web application firewalls, network firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, data loss prevention, application whitelisting, file auditing, SIEM, etc.</li><li>Ensure timely patching and updates to mitigate emerging threats.</li><li>Collaborate with IT and business units to embed security into all operational processes and projects.</li><li>Define and monitor security KPIs and metrics to evaluate control effectiveness.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, etc.</li><li>Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the components under his/her responsibility.</li><li>Provide onsite or remote third level support relevant to his/her area of responsibility, within the set framework and agreed SLAs.</li><li>Provide support for security-related incidents and escalations.</li><li>Execute any other activities assigned to him/her, that falls within and are relevant to his/her area of responsibility.</li><li>Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies by attending conferences, participating in online forums, and obtaining certifications.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.</li><li>Master’s degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Professional certifications e.g. CISSP, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert or related will be considered as advantage.</li></ul>&nbsp;PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS<ul><li>2-4 years of proven experience in Cybersecurity.</li><li>2 years of experience with Microsoft security technologies (Microsoft Defender for Servers &amp; Endpoints, Exchange Online Protection and Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps).</li><li>Experience with Networking and communications, Azure Cloud Shell and Azure CLI Scripting, &nbsp;&nbsp; Microsoft Graph APIs, Azure Policies, Infrastructure As Code languages (Ansible and Terraform).</li><li>Expertise in developing and implementing technical standards and policies.</li><li>Knowledge of encryption, network protocols, operating systems security and cloud security.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication in both Greek &amp; English.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Additional information<ul><li>Already have a profile in our recruitment system?
