AML, Compliance and Risk Management

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly regarded company operating in the iGaming industry, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Policy &amp; Governance Manager (Gaming Compliance) to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all output meet the highest regulatory and operational standards, with final oversight and approval provided by the Director of Policy &amp; Governance. Our client is seeking applicants who ideally hold Legal, Compliance, or Risk Management qualifications, with approximately 5+ years or proven experience in gaming compliance, policy, or regulatory governance, ideally within an international operator or regulator. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of multi-jurisdictional gaming regulations, including at least three of the following: MGA, UK, Ontario, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Spain. Experience with both B2B and B2C operations in the gaming industry is essential. Relocation support to suitable applicants based outside of Cyprus is also available.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive gap analyses of applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., MGA, UKGC, Ontario, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Brazil).</li><li>Develop and draft company-wide compliance policies focusing on Marketing, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Safer Gambling (SG), ensuring alignment with licensing requirements across B2B and B2C operations.</li><li>Understand, maintain and enhance existing policy frameworks, ensuring continuity with the company’s established governance structure, while identifying areas for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the SG/AML and marketing compliance teams to translate policies into effective operational procedures.</li><li>Provide expert guidance and oversight to ensure operational teams implement policies in line with regulatory obligations.</li><li>Monitor regulatory changes in key jurisdictions and proactively assess their impact on the business, particularly in Marketing, AML, and SG.</li><li>Ensure that all regulatory obligations are met and that the business maintains a state of continual compliance with each licence.</li><li>Support the expansion of licensing into new markets by producing the required compliance documentation and frameworks.</li><li>Take accountability for work produced, exercising sound judgment and ensuring accuracy before submission for final approval.</li><li>Provide support in external compliance audits and regulatory compliance assessments.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Holders of Legal, Compliance, or Risk Management qualifications are encouraged to apply,</li><li>Approximately 5+ years of proven experience in gaming compliance, policy, or regulatory governance, ideally within an international operator or regulator.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of multi-jurisdictional gaming regulations, including at least three of the following: MGA, UK, Ontario, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Spain.</li><li>Strong ability to conduct regulatory analysis and gap assessments, translating complex requirements into practical policies and risk assessments.</li><li>Demonstrated experience drafting and implementing policies and procedures at a senior level, particularly in Marketing, AML, and Safer Gambling.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercising ownership and accountability.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with SG/AML teams and senior managers.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.</li><li>Critical thinking, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility, given the significant accountability attached to the role.</li><li>Experience with both B2B and B2C operations in the gaming industry.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage compliance projects during licence applications in relation to policy submissions.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Benefits:&nbsp;<ul><li>Attractive salary package.</li><li>Relocation package provided for candidates moving to Cyprus.</li><li>Monetary vouchers on Birthdays and other special occasions.</li><li>Medical Insurance.</li><li>Pension Scheme.</li><li>A chance to advance professionally inside one of the world's largest iGaming organisations.</li></ul> To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8702.
