Company &amp; Role SummaryA contracting/construction company based in Nicosia is seeking a full-time Accountant to strengthen its Accounting Department.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Record accounting entries (purchases, sales, bank transactions, cash, etc.).</li><li>Issue and review invoices and related supporting documents.</li><li>Perform reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and bank accounts.</li><li>Support the payroll process (data collection and basic checks).</li><li>Prepare and assist with VAT returns.</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors and other departments of the company.&nbsp;</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Very good command of Greek and good command of English (written and spoken).</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and good knowledge of MS Office.</li><li>Strong organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail.</li><li>Team spirit, professionalism, and a high sense of responsibility.&nbsp;</li></ul>Preferred (Advantage)<ul><li>Experience in the accounting department of a construction/contracting company.</li><li>Knowledge of Cypriot tax and labour legislation (VAT, Income Tax, Social Insurance, etc.).&nbsp;</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience.</li><li>Modern, professional working environment in a growing company.</li><li>Career development prospects and continuous training.&nbsp;</li></ul>Working Hours<ul><li>Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30</li><li>Friday: 08:00–14:30&nbsp;</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit their CV via the Ergodotisi platform or by email to info@akiconstructions.com.cy, using the subject: “Accounting Department Position”.&nbsp;All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality and will be reviewed solely for the purposes of filling this position.
