CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in virtualisation and associated server and storage technologies, with offices in both Cyprus and abroad, we are seeking to recruit an IT Systems Engineer to join their growing team based in Cyprus on a fully remote basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to existing and potential customers, as well as working with colleagues to deploy new systems and solutions. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Computer Science/Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or another IT related field, and possess experience in managing Windows server and desktop OS, with exposure to Linux server OS. Good understanding of infrastructure networking skills, including routing and VLANs is essential, along with strong foundation in server and storage infrastructure technologies. A highly competitive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience, along with fully remote working conditions within Cyprus.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Providing support to existing and potential customers.</li><li>Working with colleagues to deploy new systems and solutions.</li><li>Developing bespoke internal solutions to solve unique challenges.</li><li>Documenting solutions and helping support them effectively.</li><li>Growing and sharing own skills and knowledge to benefit the company and customers.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>University degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or other IT related field.</li><li>Strong foundation in server and storage infrastructure technologies.</li><li>Good understanding of infrastructure networking skills, including routing and VLANs.</li><li>Experienced in managing Windows server and desktop OS, and exposure to Linux server OS.</li><li>Comfortable managing a Windows domain, particularly working with all aspects of Active Directory and Group Policy, and core aspects of Entra.</li><li>Experience with hypervisor-based virtualisation and associated technologies.</li><li>Experience with service desk and ticket management solutions.</li><li>Passionate about technology and providing a high degree of service to customers.</li><li>Ability and desire to develop new skills, expand knowledge, and experience new technologies.</li><li>Excellent proactive communication skills in English, both written and spoken.</li><li>Self-motivated, able to work without supervision as well as flexible with a proactive approach.</li><li>Access to a reliable broadband connection at home (5Mbps or better).</li><li>Suitable environment at home to work from, including space to run multiple monitors.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8733.
