Family Support Officer is the first point of contact for families, guests, volunteers and partners of Ronald McDonald House® Cyprus.This role is essential in creating a warm, safe and respectful environment, while ensuring the smooth daily operation of the House through effective front desk and administrative support.This is not just a reception role – it’s a people-centered position with real impact.Key Responsibilities:Welcoming &amp; Supporting Families·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide a warm and professional welcome to families and manage all check-in and check-out procedures.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicate House rules, services and facilities clearly and accurately.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Offer continuous support to families with empathy, discretion and respect.Call Center &amp; Communication·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Handle all incoming telephone calls and email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage enquiries, route calls appropriately and ensure accurate message handling.Reservations &amp; Room Management·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor room availability and update relevant reservation and record systems.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Process accommodation applications in collaboration with Makarios Hospital.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain accurate and up-to-date residency records.Administrative Support·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain and update administrative records, reports and documentation.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare internal logs, summaries and reports as required.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide administrative support to management and team members.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Undertake external administrative tasks as required for the operational needs of the House.Supporting House Operations·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct regular room and facility checks and report any deficiencies or damages.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Coordinate appointments with external partners, suppliers and technicians.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage keys, access cards and relevant tracking records.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform monthly stock-taking and manage weekly stockroom distribution.Volunteer Support·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Welcome, guide and support volunteers during their activities.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain volunteer records and assist with task coordination.Safety &amp; Procedures·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor visitor entry and exit and ensure all access control procedures are strictly followed.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Report incidents, risks or concerns promptly to management.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure the front desk and stockroom areas remain clean, orderly and professional at all times.Sponsors &amp; Visits·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Welcome sponsors, partners and visiting groups in a professional manner.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support House and Foundation events and activities.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist with the daily operation of the e-shop.What You’ll Bring:We’re looking for someone who brings more than just skills — we want passion, personality, and purpose.Here’s what will make you shine in this role:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A university degree in a relevant field.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1–3 years of experience in a reception or customer service role will be considered an advantage.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
