Imperio is a leading property development and management firm in Cyprus, well-known for delivering exceptional projects over the past 20 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;We are seeking a Property Lawyer to join our Real Estate Legal Department and support in all aspects of property and conveyancing law.&nbsp;The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, handling conveyancing transactions, and liaising with clients, authorities, and financial institutions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will provide essential legal support across property sales, leasing, and related agreements, reporting directly to the Legal Manager.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Draft and review property-related contracts, reservation agreements, leasing agreements and other legal documents.</li><li>Manage conveyancing transactions from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Liaise with clients, governmental authorities, financial institutions, and other relevant parties to facilitate property transactions.</li><li>Submitting necessary documentation through governmental portals.</li><li>Managing all outgoing and incoming correspondence, coordinating with courier services, and maintaining records.</li><li>Preparing essential corporate documents for the compliance department of banks.</li><li>Maintaining organized record-keeping systems for both hard and electronic copies.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure alignment with company objectives and procedures.</li><li>Conducting KYC (Know Your Customer) and due diligence processes while adhering to the Group’s compliance procedures.</li><li>Drafting various corporate documents, including minutes, resolutions, agreements, powers of attorney, registers, and letters.</li><li>Organizing the execution, certification, apostille, and legalization of corporate documents.</li><li>Collaborating with the Registrar of Companies and the Official Receiver by preparing HE forms and related applications, while effectively liaising with these entities.</li></ul>&nbsp;Desired Experience &amp; Qualifications: &nbsp;<ul><li>LLB or equivalent; Master’s degree an advantage.</li><li>Up to 3-5 years of experience in property law and conveyancing is required.</li><li>Exposure to Cypriot property law, leasing, contract law and real estate transactions.</li><li>Strong understanding of the Property Law and the conveyancing procedures in Cyprus.</li><li>Familiarity with KYC and due diligence requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in drafting and reviewing property contracts and agreements.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and legal document management software.</li><li>Excellent communication in English (Greek an advantage).</li><li>Experience in corporate law will be considered an asset.</li></ul>Necessary Skills:<ul><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Able to liaise with clients, authorities, banks, and service providers.</li><li>High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.</li><li>Excellent time management and prioritization.</li></ul>&nbsp;What do we offer:<ul><li>Attractive compensation package with performance incentives.</li><li>13th salary.</li><li>Opportunities for advancement within Imperio.</li><li>Training opportunities and exposure to challenging, high-profile projects.</li></ul>&nbsp;Ready to Join Us?If you’re ready to take your career to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!
