Cypurs Serbellas Boutique Hotel Maintenance Technician - Job DescriptionDepartment:Engineering / MaintenanceReports To:Chief Engineer / Maintenance Manager&nbsp;Job Summary:The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This includes electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general maintenance work in accordance with hotel standards and safety regulations.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li dir="ltr">Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel (guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house).</li><li dir="ltr">Inspect and maintain electrical systems, lighting, outlets, and wiring.</li><li dir="ltr">Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, HVAC systems, and water heaters.</li><li dir="ltr">Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules.</li><li dir="ltr">Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.</li><li dir="ltr">Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, health, and quality standards.</li><li dir="ltr">Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.</li><li dir="ltr">Record and report maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.</li><li dir="ltr">Support special projects and renovation work when needed.</li><li dir="ltr">Coordinate with housekeeping and front office to minimize guest disturbance during maintenance.</li><li dir="ltr">Assist contractors and external service providers when required.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li dir="ltr">Technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field.</li><li dir="ltr">Previous experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a hotel or hospitality environment.</li><li dir="ltr">Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.</li><li dir="ltr">Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.</li><li dir="ltr">Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li dir="ltr">Basic computer literacy (for maintenance logs and reports).</li><li dir="ltr">Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li dir="ltr">Physically fit and able to lift, climb, or work in confined spaces.</li><li dir="ltr">Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.</li></ul>&nbsp;Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 25 kg.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.&nbsp;
