Compliance and AML Officer&nbsp;Location: Limassol, Cyprus&nbsp;eCREDO Ltd is a European Electronic Money Institution (EMI) providing digital financial services across Europe. We are expanding our compliance team and are looking for a Compliance and AML Officer to support the implementation of our compliance and AML framework.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop and apply policies and procedures that ensure compliance with the e-payments EU regulatory framework, AML directives and all relevant legislations and regulations, including EU EMD2 (electronic money directive) and PSD2 (payment services directive) and related national law.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Handle all issues pertaining to the Company’s payments and e-money license and ensure regulatory compliance with EMD 2 and other relevant primary and secondary EMI related law.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain and update Internation Operations Manual and dedicated policies and procedures.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare Annual Regulatory Compliance Report, Annual AML Compliance Officer Report, and other regulatory reports and returns either periodic or ad hoc.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct internal compliance audits, identifying issues and propose remedial measures.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide Senior Management with suggestions for improvement on regulatory compliance matters.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain and update AML Manual and Customer Acceptance Policy.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop training material and provide training to employees on Compliance and AML maters·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Continuously monitor customer transactions and customer payment behaviour to ensure these comply with customer economic profiling and the Employer’s EMI licensed activities.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Evaluate KYC procedures and on-boarding processes, including AML risk scoring methodology and update when deemed necessary.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure policies and procedures regarding the company's AML and CTF program are in line with latest AML directives.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct or Oversee customer non face to face Due Diligence at the onboarding stage.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Periodic customer portfolio AML review and KYC data verification.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify, analyse and propose AML risk mitigation measures.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaise with the regulatory authorities regarding all AML compliance and EMI license compliance matters.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct or oversee sanction list checks and transaction monitoring.&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or&nbsp;a related field.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience in AML, CDD, or regulatory framework compliance within fintech, banking, or payments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, CDD/KYC processes, AML regulations and risk-based approach.</li><li>High attention to detail and strong documentation skills</li><li>Hands-on experience in transaction monitoring and alert handling.</li><li>Proficiency in screening tools, risk assessment frameworks, and customer relationship management systems.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask.</li></ul>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Effective communication and stakeholder management.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent command of English.<ul><li>AML certification (e.g., CySEC or equivalent) will be advantageous.</li></ul>Application Process&nbsp;If you are interested in joining a growing payments institution, please send your CV to hr@ecredo.com.&nbsp;All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for recruitment purposes.
