DIMCO is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Lighting Designer to join our Architectural Lighting Department in Nicosia. If you're passionate about architecture, design and innovative lighting solutions, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Lighting Design
Develop creative and functional lighting concepts tailored to each project's requirements
Prepare lighting layouts, technical drawings and reflected ceiling plans
Select decorative and architectural lighting fixtures
Perform lighting calculations using Relux or DIALux
Prepare lighting specifications, schedules and client presentations
Project Coordination
Coordinate lighting designs with architects, interior designers consultants and contractors
Participate in design meetings and conduct site visits to ensure successful project delivery
Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical information and product specification
Support the Commercial Team throughout the design and implementation phase
Technical Documentation 
Prepare and maintain:
AutoCAD drawings
Lighting layouts and details
Fixture schedules
Tender and project documentation

 

PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• University degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
• At least 3-4 years of experience in roles such as Project Manager, Lighting Engineer/Designer, Interior Designer or a related position
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Relux and Dialux (must have)
• Good knowledge of Revit or other 3D visualisation software (will be cosidered an advantage)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Dynamic, with an ability to take initiatives, strategies, solve problems and deliver high-quality results

• Very good knowledge of Greek and English
