Job Description

ANTONIS K. KARAS LLC, based in Larnaca, is seeking to recruit a Commercial Lawyer to join its legal team.

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of Commercial Law matters, with particular emphasis on the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial contracts, including property management agreements.

Key Responsibilities

•       Substantive experience across the full spectrum of Commercial Law, with the ability to run matters independently

•       Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements in Greek and in English

•       Advising on commercial and contractual matters

•       Conducting Legal Due Diligence, where required

•       Drafting and reviewing legal documents and opinions

•       Liaising and co-operating with clients, competent authorities and other professionals

•       Managing files and observing all applicable deadlines

•       Maintaining a high standard of professionalism and client service

Essential Requirements

•       Law degree from a recognised University

•       Admitted lawyer and member of the Cyprus Bar Association

•       Very good command of the Greek and English languages, both written and oral

•       Very good contract drafting, review and negotiation skills

•       Ability to manage files effectively and meet deadlines

•       Very good organisational, analytical and communication skills

•       Professionalism, reliability and attention to detail

Considered an Advantage

•       Previous experience in Commercial Law and/or in the drafting of commercial contracts

•       Knowledge of additional languages
