Corporate Lawyer

The Role:

For our esteemed client, we are seeking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer, to be based in their office in Nicosia. The role is a full-time, on-site position supporting the client’s corporate, legal, banking and migration functions. The Corporate Lawyer will handle day-to-day responsibilities such as drafting, reviewing, and updating corporate documents and agreements, preparing and filing submissions to the Registrar of Companies, and maintaining statutory records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and update corporate documents and agreements.
• Prepare and file submissions to the Registrar of Companies and maintain statutory records.
• Assist with company formation, re-domiciliation, corporate restructuring and secretarial duties.
• Assist with bank account openings and migration procedures for Cyprus companies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Liaise with clients, banks and authorities to facilitate corporate, banking and migration processes.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and external associates to deliver timely, accurate and client-focused support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Corporate law expertise - Strong foundation in corporate, commercial and company law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a law firm, corporate services provider or financial institution.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing corporate documents, agreements, resolutions and company formation documentation.
• Regulatory compliance – Experience with compliance and Registrar of Companies procedures.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Experience in bank account openings and/or migration procedures will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Professional integrity – Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; professional legal qualifications or bar admission considered an asset.
• Strong computer literacy, including legal databases, document management systems and standard office software.
