Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain student residences, classrooms, offices, common areas corridors, and other university facilities.
- Clean and sanitise washrooms and other designated areas.
- Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of rubbish.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the university premises.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow the university’s health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and university procedures.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Greek and/or English is an advantage
