Job Description

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registration / membership with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar site-based role.
• Very good knowledge of construction processes, including reinforced concrete works, earthworks, metal works, carpentry, installations and finishing works.
• Very good knowledge of technical drawings, quantity measurement and construction details.
• Very good computer skills, particularly AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervision, organization and coordination of construction works on site.
• Planning and coordination of daily and upcoming site activities.
• Organization and supervision of site personnel and workforce.
• Coordination and supervision of subcontractors.
• Ensuring effective communication and coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and other members of the project team.
• Monitoring the construction program and ensuring that works are completed according to agreed deadlines.
• Monitoring the quality and productivity of works.
• Preparation of quantity measurements for material procurement and subcontractor works.
• Timely preparation and coordination of material orders.
• Monitoring materials, equipment and machinery required for the smooth execution of works.
• Preparation of subcontractor instructions and measurement of completed works where required.
• Preparation of monthly project progress reports.
• Monitoring and implementation of Health & Safety requirements on site.
• Maintaining the daily construction site diary and recording progress, manpower, subcontractors, deliveries and significant site events.
