Job Overview

The hotel porter welcomes guests, carries their luggage to and from their room and arranges various services such as taxis and restaurant bookings.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

·       To project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and other team members.

·       Greeting guests and carrying luggage to and from their room

·       Showing guests to their room and explaining the facilities

• Answering guests’ questions about the hotel and local points of interest

·       Keeping the lobby and reception area tidy

·       Responding to guest requests and making sure they are comfortable throughout their stay.

·       Running errands, doing small jobs such as buying medicine for a client or picking up dry cleaning.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Must speak and write Greek and English very well. Knowledge of the Russian language will be considered as an additional advantage.

·       Experience with hotel environment for any position would be consider as advantage.

·       Holder of an EU passport is essential.

Personal Characteristics

·       Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, honest reliable and polite.

·       Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Very good communication skills.

·       Working quickly without compromising quality

·       Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-paced luxury environment.
