Job Description

On behalf of our client, an established and growing professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are seeking an experienced Accountant / Auditor to join their team.

Our client provides a broad range of audit, accounting, tax and business advisory services, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients with a strong commitment to professionalism, quality and high standards of client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting and bookkeeping records.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and IFRS.
• Prepare and maintain audit files and support audit engagements.
• Use CaseWare for the preparation of financial statements and/or management of audit files.
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting activities using E-Soft.
• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns.
• Support payroll-related activities, where required.
• Review accounting records and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise professionally with clients on accounting and audit-related matters.
• Support the wider team with accounting, audit and other financial assignments as required.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting and/or auditing.
• Proven hands-on experience with CaseWare, particularly in financial statement preparation and/or management of audit files.
• Practical experience with E-Soft accounting software for bookkeeping and/or payroll.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting principles and IFRS.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• Professional, responsible and collaborative approach.

What They Offer

• Gross monthly salary of €2,000–€2,300, depending on experience and qualifications.
