Vasiliou & Co LLC (Vasiliou Law) is one of the fastest-growing law firms with expert lawyers in Cyprus, providing legal services with extensive and expanding clientele, ranging from private individuals and international clients to global organizations. Vasiliou Law is looking to recruit a Litigation Lawyer to join the team of the Litigation Department. The job offer is for full-time employment, starting date as soon as possible. Our office is located in Larnaca.

You must have experience of minimum 5+ years as a Litigation Lawyer. Proficiency in English and Greek language is essential.

Job description

· Offer the whole scope of legal services to our clients.

· Appearing before the Cyprus Courts, with emphasis on dealing with Civil and Commercial cases.

· Experienced in dealing with the full spectrum of Court hearings.

· Drafting of Litigation court documents (pleadings, applications, submissions etc.), legal opinions, contracts and other legal documents, handling out-of-court cases.

· Providing professional legal advice to international and Cyprus clients on EU and Cyprus law matters.

· Collaborating with other colleagues within the firm and associates.

Candidate profile

· Bachelor’s degree in law

· Master’s Degree will be considered an advantage.

· Member of Cyprus Bar Association.

· Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in litigation.

· Experience in drafting pleadings and other legal documents.

· Experience in Court hearings and legal documents that are related to Civil and Commercial Law and Litigation.

· Computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft office.

· Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

· Integrity and professional ethics, business acumen.

· Attention to detail.
