Job Description

A private family office based in Limassol is looking for an experienced lawyer to handle its day-to-day legal work. The family office manages a diverse portfolio: private companies in Cyprus and abroad, yachting assets, hospitality, automotive services and real estate in several European jurisdictions.
 

This is a hands-on, full-time in-house role. You will report directly to the director and work closely with the management team, external law firms and service providers.
 

Your daily routine will include:
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, LOIs, supplier, service, lease and employment agreements
• Corporate housekeeping for Cyprus and international companies: resolutions, registers, filings, UBO and KYC documentation, liaison with corporate service providers
• Legal support for yachting operations: charter, refit, shipyard, crew and port agent documentation, insurance matters and warranty claims
• Support for real estate matters in Cyprus and abroad (EU)
• Preparing formal letters, notices and responses to counterparties, and handling pre-litigation disputes
• Coordinating and instructing external counsel, auditors and advisors, and controlling timelines and costs
• Keeping the contract register, deadlines and document archive organised
• Giving quick, practical legal input on everyday business questions
 

Requirements:
• Law degree; admitted to the Cyprus Bar, or an equivalent qualification with solid Cyprus law experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or family office environment
• Strong command of contract and corporate law; English law and maritime experience is a strong advantage
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Able to work independently, prioritise several matters at once and deliver clear, business-oriented advice
• Absolute discretion and a high level of confidentiality
