Responsibilities:
· Maintain bookkeeping records and general ledger accounts for local and international clients
· Track and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
· Reconciliation of banks, and other reconciliations
· Support and assist the team as needed with other accounting projects
· Prepare and submit VAT returns and VIES reports and other VAT issues
· Meet deadlines through high quality of work
· Communicating with local authorities when needed
· Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and requested documentation.
· Banking and bank reviews
Qualifications / Experience and Skills:
· At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent Greek and English Communication Skills both verbal and written
· Computer knowledge (MS Office)
· Strong knowledge of indirect tax (VAT) and VIES
· Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
· Positive can-do attitude, self-motivated and committed personality
· Previous experience with relevant accounting software (e.g. CyCom) will be considered as an advantage
· Knowledge of payroll preparation will be considered as advantage
· LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting or Bachelor Degree (Accounting / Finance / Economics or other related field) will be considered as advantage. No professional qualification is required.
Working hours:
· 8:00-17:30 - three times per week
· 8:00-2:30 one afternoon off with rotation
· 8:00-2:30 – Friday
