S. LUKASHUK & PARTNERS LTD is a dynamic boutique professional services firm established by former Big Four management professionals, providing Accounting, Tax Advisory and Financial Advisory services to local and international clients.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team.
We preferably seek candidates with 1–2 years of practical accounting experience, particularly in bookkeeping and VAT preparation. However, candidates with 0–1 years of experience and a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accounting records for local and international companies.
- Process purchase and sales invoices and bank transactions.
- Perform bank, customer and supplier reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT and VIES returns for review.
- Assist with payroll preparation and related statutory obligations.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
- Communicate with clients and maintain accounting documentation.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferably 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; candidates with less experience will also be considered.
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field, LCCI Higher or equivalent.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.
- Knowledge of Cyprus VAT and VIES procedures will be considered a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (E-SOFT or similar).
- Good command of English.
- If you speak Ukrainian or Russian, it is your advantage
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Experience in an accounting firm, ACCA studies and knowledge of additional languages will be considered advantages.
