On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an ACA/ACCA Trainee to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or junior professionals looking to build a successful career in audit, accounting, and taxation within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake audit assignments under the supervision of senior team members
• Assist in the preparation of audit working papers and audit completion procedures
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements
• Develop an understanding of corporate and personal taxation and assist with tax computations
• Participate in various company projects and assignments
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with professional standards and procedures
Requirements
• University degree in any field of study
• University of Cyprus graduates with a minimum grade of 7.50/10, UK University graduates with a minimum 2:1, or graduates from other universities with a minimum GPA of 3.33
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and verbal
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Previous experience of up to 2 years will be considered an advantage
