Job Description

Position: Accountant 
Location: Cyprus, Limassol
Employment type: Full – Time

Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts.

·       Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and any ad hoc reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial information.

·       Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns and staying up to date with relevant tax legislation.

·       Assist in the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or LCCI Higher Level (or equivalent).

·       Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field.

·       Fluency in both English and Greek (written and spoken).

·       Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

·       Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·       Strong teamwork abilities.

·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
