Job Description

Dedalos Corporate is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accountant who already has some practical experience and wants to develop specialist knowledge in VAT, EU transactions, and IAS/IFRS accounting. Key responsibilities

VAT and OSS compliance

• Prepare VAT returns and VIES declarations for review
• Assist with One-Stop Shop (OSS) reporting for cross-border B2C transactions within the EU
• Apply the appropriate VAT treatment to transactions
• Reconcile VAT accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate supporting records and meet filing deadlines

Accounting and financial reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with IAS/IFRS
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements
• Help ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information

Billing and Payment Support 

• Record and match payments received in the company’s bank account.

Prepare and process payments on behalf of the team.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Basic practical knowledge of VAT and accounting principles
• Experience using an accounting or ERP system such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar
• Good Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and willingness to learn

Experience with VIES, OSS, EU transactions, or IAS/IFRS reporting would be an advantage, but specialist expertise is not required. Training and support will be provided.
