Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant. The Accountant will take responsibility for the end-to-end accounting of a portfolio of group entities, including day-to-day accounting, reporting, compliance support, and audit coordination.

The role reports directly to the Directors of the entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries for multiple entities
• Prepare journal entries, month-end adjustments, and management accounts
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors
• Perform payments, regular bank, investment, and third-party reconciliations
• Assist with VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and ongoing compliance requirements
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior management and the family office

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• 2–4+ years’ accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• Good working knowledge of IFRS
• Very good Excel skills; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical ability with good attention to detail
• Professional integrity, reliability, and respect for confidentiality
• Clear communication skills and fluency in English
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines within a collaborative environment
