Job Description
Flintera is a private equity firm working closely with a portfolio of international companies across multiple industries. We are looking for a switched-on, capable accounting professional to join our team in Limassol. We will be providing strong support for an outstanding individual looking to advance their career, providing that they are willing to work hard and prove themselves in the role.
The candidate must reside in Cyprus and have a work permit.
Candidate profile:
· Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance with three years relevant work experience
· Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
· MS Office experience, particularly Excel
· Proficient in written and spoken English
· Analytical skills, high degree of accuracy and attention to details
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
· Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Record transactions in the accounting system
· Accounts Reconciliation – Banks, Processors, Customers and Suppliers
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors
· Assist in preparation of management reports on monthly / year-end basis
· Support the preparation of VAT & VIES returns
· Other ad-hoc duties and tasks
