Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of its client, a leading premium beverages importer and distributor in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit a motivated, organised, and detail-oriented Accountant to join its dynamic team in Larnaca.
The successful candidate will support the company’s financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations and will report directly to the Chief Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing various weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
Assisting in the preparation and execution of annual and quarterly financial statement audits, while working closely with external auditors
Supporting day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and processing import purchasing invoices
Performing reconciliations of key supplier and vendor accounts
Assisting in the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of weekly cash flow forecasts
Requirements
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an advantage
Partly qualified or currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification will be considered an advantage
Previous experience of at least 2 years in an accounting role
Well-organised, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; familiarity with SAP will be considered an advantage
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek languages
