Accountant Assistant
Job Description
About the position:
As an Accountant Assistant, you will support the daily financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate data entry, timely processing of documents, and effective coordination with customers and suppliers. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within structured accounting workflows.
Key functions:
- Maintain and update customer data within the company’s ERP/accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer receivables to ensure timely payment collection
- Prepare and issue financial Credit Notes (CNs)
- Process purchase invoices and perform reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts
- Organize and maintain records (e‑filing and physical filing)
Qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles related to invoicing or data processing
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT literacy – Word, Excel, ERP systems
- Fluent Greek and English
