Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities: 

• Handle full bookkeeping and record all accounting transactions
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and ledgers
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Prepare monthly payroll and calculate Social Insurance, GHS (GeSY) and income tax contributions
• Liaise with the Tax Department, VAT Department and Social Insurance Services
• Carry out monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, suppliers and customers
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
• Support external auditors during the annual audit
• File and organise accounting documents in an orderly manner

• Perform any other related duties assigned by management from time to time

   

Requirements:

• Degree  in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Previous experience is an advantage; recent graduates are welcome
