EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANTS / BOOKKEEPERS
About the role
Demetriades Group of Companies is looking for experienced Accountants / Bookkeepers to join our Finance team in Limassol. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns and year-end processes, and assisting with the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping needs of the Group.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records for a portfolio of companies
- Record and process bank transactions, supplier invoices and customer payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and nominal ledgers
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Support the year-end closing process and audits
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, tax advisors)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards and identify process improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper (minimum 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g. SAP, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar)
- Good understanding of VAT, management accounts and year-end processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with different departments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Η θέση
Ο Όμιλος Εταιρειών Demetriades αναζητά έμπειρους Λογιστές/τριες - Τηρητές Βιβλίων για να ενταχθούν στο Οικονομικό Τμήμα του στη Λεμεσό. Οι κατάλληλοι/ες υποψήφιοι/ες θα είναι υπεύθυνοι/ες για την τήρηση ακριβών οικονομικών αρχείων, την υποστήριξη στην ετοιμασία διοικητικών λογαριασμών, δηλώσεων ΦΠΑ και διαδικασιών τέλους χρήσης, καθώς και για την κάλυψη των καθημερινών λογιστικών αναγκών του Ομίλου.
Κύρια καθήκοντα
- Τήρηση ακριβών λογιστικών βιβλίων για χαρτοφυλάκιο εταιρειών
- Καταχώρηση τραπεζικών συναλλαγών, τιμολογίων προμηθευτών και εισπράξεων πελατών
- Συμφιλίωση τραπεζικών λογαριασμών και λογαριασμών γενικού καθολικού
- Ετοιμασία και υποβολή δηλώσεων ΦΠΑ και άλλων νόμιμων υποχρεώσεων
- Υποστήριξη στην ετοιμασία διοικητικών λογαριασμών και οικονομικών αναφορών
- Υποστήριξη στο κλείσιμο τέλους χρήσης και στους ελέγχους
- Συνεργασία με εσωτερικά τμήματα και τρίτους (τράπεζες, ελεγκτές, φορολογικούς συμβούλους)
- Συμμόρφωση με τις πολιτικές της εταιρείας και τα λογιστικά πρότυπα και εντοπισμός βελτιώσεων
Απαιτούμενα προσόντα
- Αποδεδειγμένη εμπειρία ως Λογιστής/τρια ή Τηρητής Βιβλίων (τουλάχιστον 3 χρόνια)
- Πολύ καλή γνώση λογιστικών προγραμμάτων (π.χ. SAP, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage ή παρόμοια)
- Καλή γνώση ΦΠΑ, διοικητικών λογαριασμών και διαδικασιών τέλους χρήσης
- Άριστη προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια και οργανωτικές ικανότητες
- Πολύ καλές επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες και συνεργασία με διάφορα τμήματα
- Ικανότητα αυτόνομης εργασίας και ομαδικό πνεύμα
