Job Description

Paphos Transport Organization (O.SY.PA.) Ltd, providing public transportation services in the Paphos District, is seeking to employ an Accounting Officer for its offices in Paphos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily handling of the company’s receipts
• Ensuring the timely collection of all receipts
• Preparation of management reports
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Reconciliation of cash and bank ledger accounts
• Reconciliation of receipts with bank deposits
• Preparation of financial reports and statements
• Processing various accounting and bookkeeping tasks
• Daily communication with suppliers and management of payments
• Active contribution to the finance team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AAT or LCCI Higher, or relevant accounting background
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to analyze and process financial data and figures
• Excellent knowledge of both English and Greek
• A university degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered an advantage
