Job Description

The Finance Officer plays a key role in ensuring that all financial records, transactions, and reporting processes are handled accurately and efficiently. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain reliable financial data, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes. Acting as a central support within the Finance function, you’ll contribute to maintaining transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency in a dynamic and growing organization.

 

A challenging task
• Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times.
• Process and record purchase documents in line with company procedures.
• Process and record production-related financial documents.
• Perform regular reconciliations, including banks, receivables, and payables.
• Assist with supplier payments and follow up on debtor collections.
• Support the costing and pricing of products through data analysis and collaboration with relevant teams.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports to support decision-making.
• Assist in various financial and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records in compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting procedures and systems.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.

 

A convincing background
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous work experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Progress towards CAT/ACCA qualification will be considered an advantage.
• Professional working proficiency in both Greek and English languages.
• Strong computer literacy, including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Eagerness for continuous learning and professional development in a growing organization.
