Accounts Officer

Dhali Industrial Zone, Nicosia  •  Full-Time

 

Mitsides Public Company Ltd is the oldest and most experienced flour and pasta manufacturer in Cyprus and the market leader in its field. Due to the continued expansion of our operations, we are seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer for our central offices at the Dhali Industrial Zone. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative finance team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and accounting for the Group of Companies.
• Monthly reconciliations of banks, creditors, debtors and cash in hand.
• Issuing sales invoices.
• Preparing payments to local and foreign creditors.
• Performing other related duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• University or college degree in Accounting and Finance, or an LCCI Higher qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience is essential; experience within an audit firm will be considered an additional advantage.
• Strong command of both the Greek and English languages, written and spoken.
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, internet and ERP software); good knowledge of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Navision / Business Central 365 will be considered an additional advantage.
• A pleasant and professional personality, and a strong team player.
