CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Banking Institution with expanding operations in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit an AML Officer to join their growing team. As an AML Officer, you will ensure continuous compliance of the Bank with applicable AML laws and regulations. As part of your role, you will conduct KYC/CDD checks, perform customer risk assessments and transaction monitoring. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, who possess 2+ years of relevant working experience, ideally gained working in Banking or similar. You will need to be fluent in Greek and English, and holders of any relevant professional certifications are encouraged to apply. A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer, which includes both a 13th and 14th salary, as well as excellent working hours from 08:00am to 15:30 Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 – 15:00 each Friday.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Ensure continuous compliance of the Bank with applicable AML laws and regulations.
• Conduct KYC/CDD checks, perform customer risk assessments and transaction monitoring.
• Prepare reports and required documentation for submission to relevant authorities and regulator.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Bank’s compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Provide advice & guidance to employees as appropriate on AML matters.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Law, Economics, Business, finance, or another related field.
• Relevant professional certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of relevant working experience, ideally gained working in Banking or similar.
• Fluent in both English and Greek (written and oral).
• Computer literacy.
• Able to work on own initiative, prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
