Job Description

On behalf of our client, one of the largest construction companies in Cyprus, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Architect.

 

Τhe Company is licensed as an A – Class Contractor, allowing to handle projects of any size and complexity. Due to its size and structure, the Company can operate with flexibly to match the needs of its clients. It has been in the market for over 60 years and has built a reputation for quality, efficiency and reliability.

 

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join the team of the Company and take an active role in the design, coordination and technical support of the architectural projects. The role requires a strong technical background, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and a practical understanding of the transition from design to construction

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and oversee the preparation of detailed drawings for architectural plans, elevations, sections and construction details.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure a smooth workflow between teams.

Liaise with the construction team for clarifications and provide technical support in relation to the drawings until project completion.

Prepare drawings, present ideas for review and develop final construction drawings.

Monitor budgets and timelines and ensure compliance with building regulations, planning legislation and fire safety requirements.

Process changes during the design stage and prepare architectural solutions and construction details.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong technical and organisational ability, with the capability to coordinate multiple technical workstreams.

Professional maturity, responsibility and the ability to make decisions in a demanding project environment.

Effective communication and very good collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Recognised university degree in Architecture.

Member of ETEK.

At least 5 years of professional experience in Architecture, Detail Design and a Technical Office environment.

Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Very good command of the Greek and English languages.

Previous experience in large-scale masterplans and early-stage concept designs will be considered an advantage.

Knowledge of the laws and regulations relevant to residential and commercial developments in Cyprus will be considered a significant advantage.
