The Evalena Beach Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join its team. The Accounting Department is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support management with timely financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial transactions
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with local regulations
Ensure accurate recording of revenue streams (rooms, F&B, events, etc.)
Handle VAT submissions, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Conduct cost control analysis and identify areas for efficiency improvement
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external partners
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Familiarity with hotel accounting systems and PMS (advantageous)
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
High level of integrity and professionalism
