Job Description

Key Responsibilities

•    Assist the Chief Engineer in the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department.

•    Organise and maintain the department's filing and documentation system, including ISO 9001 quality         records.

•    Monitor, update and file equipment record cards (asset history, maintenance logs, service reports).

•    Oversee IT systems throughout the hotel (network, Wi-Fi, CCTV, telephony/PBX, IPTV, access control,        POS hardware) in cooperation with external contractors.

•    Track contractor works, check service reports, and support the verification of contractor invoices

•   Assist in the coordination of CAPEX projects: preparing scopes of work, collecting and comparing              quotations, monitoring budgets, timelines and contractor progress, and reporting to the Chief Engineer.

•    Support the planning and follow-up of preventive maintenance schedules through the CMMS.

•    Coordinate and supervise technicians and contractors on assigned tasks.

•    Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and hotel standards.

•    Prepare reports, quotation comparisons and purchase requests as required.

Requirements

•     Engineering related degree.

•     Registration with ETEK, or eligibility to register (advantage).

•     Proven experience in IT systems and networks.

•     Experience in hotel or building services/facility maintenance will be considered an advantage.

•     Basic knowledge of HVAC, BMS and MEP systems (advantage).

•     Experience in project coordination and budget monitoring will be considered an advantage.

•     Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead and coordinate a team.

•     Ability to work under pressure and deliver tasks within deadlines.

•     Flexibility to work weekends and be on call when required.

•     Very good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel, AutoCAD, CMMS experience is a plus).

•     Excellent command of Greek and English, written and spoken.

•     Valid Cyprus driving license.
