The Role: Our Outsourcing Service Line is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. You will work with a diverse client portfolio, lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services, and contribute to the continued success and growth of our practice. Your key Responsibilities include:
·    Manage a portfolio of local and international clients, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality accounting, financial reporting, and compliance services.
·    Post accounting records, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
·    Review accounting records, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by team members.
·    Oversee the maintenance of accurate bookkeeping and accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legislation.
·    Prepare and review management accounts, financial reports, cash flow statements, and other client reporting requirements.
·    Prepare IFRS financial statements and coordinate with auditors during statutory audits.
·    Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and payment reviews.
·    Coordinate client onboarding procedures, including KYC and client acceptance requirements in accordance with the Firm's policies.
·    Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business operations and provide practical accounting and financial support.
·    Liaise with clients, auditors, tax advisors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
·    Identify opportunities to improve clients' finance and accounting processes and provide value-added recommendations.
·    Mentor, coach, and supervise junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development.
·    Monitor engagement budgets, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring work is completed efficiently and profitably.
·    Provide regular updates to senior management regarding client portfolio performance, key issues, and project status.
 

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes for Success

·    ACCA, or ICAEW qualification,
·    Minimum 2-4years of relevant experience in professional services (accounting, bookkeeping, audit)
·    Strong knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus tax legislation, VAT regulations, and local compliance requirements.
·    Experience in the preparation and review of management accounts and financial statements.
·    Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
·    Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
·    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
·    Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
·    Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize competing deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
·    Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing junior team members will be considered an advantage.
