Job Description
Our client is an established international organisation operating in the classified ads sector, with a presence across multiple markets. On be half of our client we are looking for an Accounting Assistant and Facility Coordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities
1. General Ledger & Reconciliations
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual closing activities.
- Carry out monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process accounts payable invoices and communicate with vendors regarding payment status.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and monitoring collections.
- Review and process employee expense claims in accordance with company policies.
3. Compliance & Reporting
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statement.
- Support the Accounting & Reporting Manager with preparations for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS requirements and applicable local tax regulations.
4. Facility Management
- Carry out daily floor checks to identify and address maintenance issues and office-related needs.
- Coordinate routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities for building systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0 -3 years of relevant professional experience
Technical Skills
Good understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including debits, credits, and accruals
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, which are essential
- Familiarity with accounting software, experience with Business Central will be considered an advantage
Soft Skills
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict monthly deadlines
