Assistant Production Unit Maintenance Manager, Larnaca – APU/11/26
Our client is seeking an Assistant Production Unit Maintenance Manager to join the team and support the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our Production & Supply Chain facilities. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on professional with strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage both equipment and people in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Technical Support Department
Monitor scheduled and essential maintenance activities and provide annual improvement recommendations
Safeguard the effective performance of production equipment and infrastructure according to predefined specifications
Participate in technical studies and planning for machinery installation, ensuring ergonomics, safety, space optimization, and operational efficiency
Track technological developments and propose modernization or restructuring of existing machinery to the Technical Director
Coordinate effective training from suppliers and external partners on proper machine use and repair
Ensure immediate response to equipment failures, interruptions, and breakdowns, restoring operations promptly
Maintain regular communication with the Compliance & Quality Assurance Department to ensure adherence to procedures
Manage HR‑related matters within the department, including training, development, performance management, communication, and workforce planning
Qualifications & Skills
University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering)
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in production units
Knowledge of bakery, bread, and confectionery production processes
Understanding of technological developments in the production sector
Excellent command of Greek and English (written & spoken)
Strong computer literacy
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
