CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their growing team based in the heart of Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for performing audit engagements of both local and international clients. As part of your role, you will be supervising and reviewing the work produced by team members, ensuring audit assignments are completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with professional standards. The successful applicant will ideally hold an academic background relating to Accounting/Finance or similar field and be a member of either the ACA or ACCA, and will need to possess approximately 5+ years of previous experience in the Audit field. Knowledge of Caseware International Software will be considered an advantage, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. An excellent remuneration and benefits package is on offer which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, provident fund, flexible working hours, and hybrid working options.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Providing management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit service, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work.
• Conducting assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end.
• Monitoring and control of auditing staff.
• Assisting the manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies, policies, and guidelines of the Company.
• Coordination of operations, monitoring operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Communication with clients and evaluation of their needs and specifications, providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis.
• Performing other audit, assistance and supervision duties as assigned.

 

Key Skills/Experience:   

• Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
• Ideally a full member of the ACCA/ACA.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in Audit is a must.
• Sound knowledge of Corporation Tax.
• Ability to complete Audits from start to finish for small and medium clients.
• Knowledge of Caseware International software.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English and Greek.
